Entry 4: Am i slow or fast reader

Reading books, not only entertainment, it is a lot of work. A Chinese proverb says: “An unread book is not a path to the end”, and a Russian one is “Not for the benefit of reading a book, as long as there are only enough tops in them”. The book for me is a guide to other epochs, to other nations, it opens people's hearts, relationships, etc., makes us wiser. I read with pleasure, delving into every detail, with great interest and without haste. I distract for a while from everything in the world, sit back and plunge into the world of literary heroes. But, unfortunately, such moments are getting smaller.
