Entry 5: Critical analysis of online language learning resources

The creators of the Russian project SlovoUch have developed their own methodology for learning English, according to which new words are remembered only in context. The site team has compiled special lists of words that should be run at least occasionally. With this site you can learn foreign words at any time convenient for you. The system itself will offer to create a personal dictionary that you will replenish in any convenient way for you. Users can create dictionaries not only for English, but also for other foreign languages.

Language learning occurs in the process of regular reading of tests that are presented on the site. However, users are also given the opportunity to upload their own content to their account. Any incomprehensible word in the text should be clicked in order for the translation to appear, and the word itself automatically falls into the user's online dictionary.

Currently, the English database contains 2500 words, German, French and Italian - approximately 1000-1500 each.
